As the MWC2020 Barcelona opening day draws closer, the main topic of discussion is whether the spread of the Coronavirus will cause more companies to decide to pull out of the event – and then whether our own team should consider following suit!

The news from the GSMA this weekend was reassuring – their advice to the 2,800 exhibiting companies and the hundred thousand visitors to the Congress, is that many health and safety measures are in place for MWC2020 and that the World Health Organization (WHO) and National health advisories continue to be positive about travel and staying in Barcelona, while encouraging a set of common sense precautions for everyone – particularly when at “high-volume touchpoints”.

Don’t forget that we will have a 3GPP Poster on free distribution at the brochure bins provided to Association Partners, throughout the exhibition.
