Usage: <command file> <-in input_file> <-out output_file> 
       [-f format] [-ep errorPatternFile] [-tch EPType] [-o offset]

With:
input file:
coded bitstream using 16 bits words (0x0000, 0x007F or 0x0081; TCH only bursts including SB)

output file:
softbits stream using 16 bits words ([0x0081;0x007F] TCH only bursts including SB)

formats of the input/output files (default is LSB first : big endian)
    b = big endian (LSB first)
    l = little endian (MSB first)

Error Patterns : 
files using Nortel Networks EDGE extended format or AEG format with TCH only bursts.
It contains a soft error stream using bytes ([0x81;0x7F]).

EPType:
   gmsk = GMSK modulation
   8psk = 8PSK modulation

offset  :
in number of TCH time slots

Tested platforms:
MSDOS   Windows 95 
UNIX    SUN-OS

Nortel Networks GSM/EDGE AEG extended error partterns:
Header : 512 bytes
Data :
GMSK : 512 bytes blocks containing 4*114 = 456 soft errors
8PSK : 1392 bytes blocks containing 4*342 = 1368 soft errors
Soft errors are only applied onto TCH bursts without SB.
