From: Stoyan Baev Sent: 22 April 2005 18:01 To: 3GPP_TSG_RAN_WG5 Cc: 3GPP_TSG_RAN_WG5_SIG; 3GPP_TSG_RAN_WG5_RF Subject: Never say never - post final words Importance: High Dear All, To avoid problems on Monday when many of you rush to get new document numbers, let me set the rules :-) ---------------------------- If you would like to get a number for a NEW document then: 1st You shall Provide me with the following information (which you should have provided via the ADN) - Agenda item for your new doc - Document Source - Document Title - Type of content of the document, e.g. CR, LS, INFO (this includes e.g. docs for discussion) 2nd Then, I will allocate you a number when I have everything correctly written in my records. 3rd You shall - put the number into the document (R5-05nnnn) - give the document the right name (R5-05nnnn.doc) - zip the document with the right name (R5-05nnnn.zip) - Upload to the meeting server INBOX sub-directory - Inform that the document is there ------------------------------------------------------------ If you would like to get a number for a REVISION then: 1st You shall provide me with the document number of the document to be revised 2nd I will give you the new number (possibly first checking to see what the initial document was) 3rd You shall prepare the new document and - put the number into the document (R5-05nnnn) - give the document the right name (R5-05nnnn.doc) - zip the document with the right name (R5-05nnnn.zip) - Upload to the meeting server INBOX sub-directory - Inform that the document is there ------------------------------------------------------------- If you would like to WITHDRAW a document You shall indicate to me the number of the document being withdrawn.
