In light of the global efforts fighting the pandemic (Yes, please stay home!!!), I am sure many of you have already been assuming that the next RAN plenary will also have to be an Electronic meeting. This email is to confirm that the face-to-face RAN#88 plenary is cancelled, and will be converted to RAN#88-E.

As many of you commented during RAN#87-E last week the finalization of Release-16 is our highest priority. To this end we have been actively working together with the WG leadership to arrange the Q2 meetings in a manner that is optimized for the WGs’ efforts to produce high quality Rel-16 specs whilst taking deep care for delegates’ health and stress levels. 
In this context we have been looking at the timing for the E-WG and RAN-E meetings - spreading them out a bit more than what the f2f meetings were planned for would help a great deal. The exact schedule for the Q2 WG-E meetings and RAN#88-E will be announced by the end of this week.

In the meantime, stay home, stay healthy, and help those in need to the extent possible!
