Document number allocation for upcoming 3GPP TSG-T3 meetings.

3GPP T3 use an automated system for allocating document numbers (ADN). At the moment, the system requires that the user have a username and password for the ETSI server. All 3GPP and ETSI delegates may apply for such a username. See below if you do not yet have a username or you have forgotten your password. To register and input a document for a meeting, there are four steps:

• Get a number by clicking on the relevant link, ie. "Reserve a document number",  for the respective meeting (see below);
  

  • Type in your username and password

  • Fill in the requested information (Source, Type of document...)

  • Please indicate clearly the subject and the title of the document when entering it; 
    Change Requests should be registered as follows: CR to TS xx.xxx Rel-X on: subject
    Discussion documents should be titled: Discussion document on: subject

  • Click on "Reserve New Document" after double-checking on the contents you entered

• Put the number (and the source!) onto the front page of the input-document;

• Save the document as DocNumber.doc (e.g. for T3 plenary: T3-020123.doc or, for T3 ad hocs, T3z020123.doc or for T3 API Sub Working Group, T3a020123.doc);

• ZIP it (with the same file name) and email it to Friedhelm Rodermund  AND [email protected] who will up-load it to the server.
