3GPP Partner - PSCE as the coordinator of BroadWay, a pre-commercial procurement project to find solutions to achieve pan-European broadband mobile for public safety based on 3GPP standards, has released a Prior Information Notice (PIN) on the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU), to invite suppliers to help establish the state-of-the-art of broadband mobile equipment for public safety responders.

The project brings together procurement from 11 European countries, comprised of national ministries and agencies responsible for the communication services used by 1.4 Million public safety responders across Europe.

This week's BroadWay press release invites suppliers to help procurers to better understand the market status of broadband mobile for public safety via a series of consultation events in July and August 2018 and an online questionnaire.
