The Organizational Partners of the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) have agreed that the Project's name and logo may be made available for use by manufacturers and service providers to declare that their products are based on the Project's specifications.
Implementers wishing to declare conformity to the 3GPP specifications may mark their equipment and documentation with the 3GPP logo and the name 3GPP. The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has registered "3GPP" as a trademark for the benefit of the 3GPP Partners.
This arrangement is entirely voluntary and is one of self-declaration by the manufacturer, supplier, etc. The use of the 3GPP name or logo may be monitored by the trade mark holder or on its behalf. Any misuse of the name or logo detected by a member of the 3GPP community should be brought to the attention of the trade mark holder. Necessary steps may be taken to protect the interests of the 3GPP community.
The arrangement does not involve or imply any certification by ETSI (a partner in 3GPP) or the 3GPP community of the claims by manufacturers or service providers to compliance with the specifications. It is intended simply and only to provide a basis of reference for users, network operators and other manufacturers and service providers.
Companies wishing to use the 3GPP name and/or logo are requested to send the information below to:
stating the nature of the intended use, and indicate their acceptance of the terms of use below. After submitting the request, the applicant will receive an acknowledgement which includes a link to files containing the 3GPP logo in various formats.

It is hereby accepted that permission is granted to implementers of the specifications to mark their equipment and documentation with the 3GPP logo and the name 3GPP. The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has registered "3GPP" as a trademark for the benefit of the 3GPP Partners.
It is also understood that this arrangement is entirely voluntary and is one of self-declaration by the manufacturer, supplier, etc. The use of the 3GPP name or logo may be monitored by the trade mark holder or on its behalf. Any misuse of the name or logo detected by a member of the 3GPP community should be brought to the attention of the trade mark holder. Necessary steps may be taken to protect the interests of the 3GPP community. The applicant agrees to cease the use of the 3GPP name and/or logo upon the written request of the ETSI Legal Advisor.

ETSI grants the applicant authorization to use the 3GPP logo under the following terms and conditions:
The 3GPP logo shall only be used in an appropriate manner on or in relation to 3GPP specification-compliant equipment and/or services.
The 3GPP logo shall only be used in the form shown in the electronic file provided.
The 3GPP logo shall not be used in a modified form, either by addition or omission of any of the elements thereof including the by-line "A GLOBAL INITIATIVE".
When used on a web site, any hyperlink associated with the 3GPP logo shall only point to the 3GPP web site <http://www.3gpp.org/>.
