Readme file to 25.331 v12.5.0 (2015-03)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Due to an error accidentally introduced during the production of TS 25.331 v12.5.0, this version 12.5.0 is missing the keyword "OPTIONAL" in the ASN.1 text clause 11.3 in the PDU DL-PhysChCapabilityFDD-vc50ext, and this will result in all UEs designed to this version indicating support for the feature 'Simultaneous support for DCH Enhancements and Compressed Mode operation'.

It is therefore recommended not to use 25.331 v12.5.0 for implementation/testing purposes.

In case where the use of 25.331 v12.5.0 cannot be avoided, the missing "OPTIONAL" keyword SHALL be added according to the patch below:

PATCH:

  a. search for message "DL-PhysChCapabilityFDD-vc50ext ::=  SEQUENCE {" under clause 11.3 in 25.331 v12.5..0;
  b. replace the current text:

	simultaneousSupportforDCHEnhancementsAndCM		ENUMERATED { true },

=========================================================================================================

     by the following text adding “OPTIONAL”:
