I received the Ph.D. degree on communication systems and coding theory from Institute Eurecom, Sophia Antipolis/ENST-Paris, France in 2005. From January to June 2001, I worked on asymmetric digital subscriber lines with Conexant System Inc., Newport Beach, CA. From 2002 to 2005 I worked for Motorola Research Labs, Paris, focusing on coding theory aspects. Since June 2005 I joined Philips/NXP Semiconductor Research and Development center in Sophia Antipolis, France where I was technical leader and responsible for the HSDPA algorithm development.  I have been participating to 3GPPRAN 4 and RAN 1 standardization meetings since 2006 and I am author of several international IEEE conference and journal papers, inventor of numerous US and European patents and contributions to 3GPP. In September 2007 I joined ETSI to serve RAN 4 as technical officer (external expert). My research interests are in the field of communication theory and coding theory and well as system level aspects.
