After graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in Paris, 1 worked several years for France Telecom's R&D centre where I was actively involved in the standardisation of third generation mobile systems both at ETSI (SMG12) and at ITU (SG11, WP3).
Since 1999, I have been working mainly for ETSI/MCC as a private consultant. There, after spending 3 years in charge of the group defining the UMTS network architecture (TSG SA2), my main tasks are now to co-ordinate the technical activities of MCC and to manage the overall 3GPP Work Program.
